Review: Little Casa

Little Casa is a gorgeous website where you’ll find a fab collection of baby and children’s clothing and nursery bedding all in one place.  Run by a small team of experienced specialists, who design and source beautiful pieces, many of the buyers are mums too and as such they really understand the need for quality and durability as well as good value.

Baby Claudia was lucky enough to be sent a beautiful and cosy pair of Peter Rabbit pyjamas, available from Little Casa priced £22, to put to the test and she has been putting them through their paces since she’s been big enough to fit into them!

PJs

Up until now, Claudia has only ever slept in baby-gro/sleep-suits, so this was her first foray into the world of proper pyjamas.  Exciting!  Isn’t she a lucky girl that her first pair of jim-jams are in fact these beautiful 100% cotton, traditional style button-up PJs with Peter Rabbit embroidery on the chest, and super-cute all over print bottoms? – yes, very lucky!

What struck me with these, was just how cosy and soft they felt.  When I first looked at the style and saw the buttoned front on the pyjama top, I thought maybe the top would be too stiff and a bit uncomfortable for her, like a shirt, but I couldn’t have been more wrong.  It fitted her like a glove and was cosy and snug.  She looked adorable in them – obviously I’m biased, but here’s the proof:

We were sent a size 6-12 months pair for the purposes of this review and they fitted Claudia (now 7.5 months) perfectly.  I’m not sure they’ll last her until she’s a year old but she should be able to enjoy them for a little while yet before she outgrows them.  The pyjamas also come in sizes 12-18 months and 18-24 months.

I’ve found that the pyjamas really washed well too, even on a high temperature, as after the first wear she managed to coat most of the top with Weetabix, which thankfully washed off nicely after a good spin in the washing machine!

While it is bittersweet to see my little baby girl growing up so fast and seeing her out of a baby-gro at bedtime only adds to the feeling that she’s getting to be a big girl already, she did look adorable in her proper PJs and I particularly loved the traditional style of these ones.  I think they’d also make for a lovely “new baby” gift, for a boy or a girl.

Little Casa sells a range of different brands alongside the Peter Rabbit collection, such as the familiar Hello Kitty, Paddington Bear, and Mr Men & Little Miss, as well as some others I’d not heard of before like Rockabye Baby and Beau Loves.  What they all have in common are really beautiful and unique designs, coupled with a commitment to the best quality standards.  Plus, there’s free delivery on orders over £30 and free returns.
