{The Ordinary Moments} #6

I can hardly believe it’s Sunday again already, the weeks continue to fly by and this one has been a special one as we’ve spent it on holiday in Cornwall as a family of four, making memories and enjoying lots of days out down at the blustery Cornish coats (love it there and more on that to come).

One rainy blustery day, we headed to Paradise Park for the day and when it wasn’t too cold or rainy or windy, we were outside and Allegra had loads of fun feeding carrots to the goats and pigs and even getting the chance to feed some stinky fish to the penguins! A definite highlight of her week!

When the weather was too much outside, we headed inside to the park’s rather fantastic JungleBarn indoor play centre.  There were amazing slides and an extensive soft-play area that kept Allegra (and mummy and daddy taking it in turns!) entertained and occupied for hours! We snapped so many photos of Allegra enjoying herself there, but it is this one of little baby Claudia that I’m sharing for my {The Ordinary Moments} linky entry this week:

Claudia’s first time at soft-play and photographed here sitting on top of a “ball fountain”, which was amazing:  air was blowing out of the holes you can just see and blowing the plastic balls up into the air like an invisible juggling act.  Claudia was mesmerised and highly entertained! She was grabbing for the balls, giggling her head off and smiling in wonderment and when she finally got hold of a few she was as pleased as punch.  I love how proud and pleased with herself she is in this photo, clutching on to her orange ball and holding it out to show me.

Claudia, I love the bones of you, you little ray of sunshine xoxo

  1. Very cute pic. My boys love those air fountains too – they spend hours with it when we go to our local soft play. Sounds like you had a fab holiday – I love Cornwall too even when it’s cold and rainy. x

  2. Aw bless her heart, she looks so happy. It is so lovely to see them interacting more and enjoying new things. Even watching LL’s little pudgy hands desperately trying to grab things and the intent with which she stares at them makes me go a bit sappy! What have these babies done to me?! I hope you had a a lovely holiday, Cornwall is one of my most favourite places in the world. I spent many a year down there as a child and was lucky enough to travel down a week a month for work back in the old days. x

  3. awwwww look at her! so big and beautitul! I think you can clearly see how much she is loving that ball pool 🙂
